Exhibition LAP Summer Programming
July and August 2019
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Exhibition LAP Open House on June 20, 2019! Your participation and feedback is an important component of the LAP process. Display boards on the information and ideas presented at the Open House can be found here. Please provide us with your feedback on the ideas presented at the Open House by July 15th!
In addition to the information presented on the display boards, Open House participants were encouraged to complete a Summer Homework Assignment. The purpose of the activity is to record and document the positive and negative impacts of major events on the neighbourhood throughout the summer months. We encourage you to complete the activity and return to us by August 30, 2019! We will resume our regular LAP topic meetings in Fall 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.
The Neighbourhood Safety team will be conducting a number of Safety Audits in the study area throughout July and August 2019. A Safety Audit involves going into a space to evaluate concerns and perceptions of safety, and to suggest changes that improve perceptions of safety, and reduce opportunity for crime to occur. Safety Audits are open to anyone, so please bring your friends and family. Please see the Safety Activities Handout for more information on the events listed below.
