For immediate release: May 6, 2019 - 9:10am
CF19-353

Starting this week, the City of Saskatoon starts the mail-out of over 95,000 property tax notices to property owners. Residents should expect their 2019 Property Tax Notice to arrive over the next coming weeks. If you do not receive your tax notice by May 29, 2019, please call 306-975-2400.

A variety of tax payment options are available for property owners, including the option to choose TIPPS (Tax Installment Payment Plan Service). TIPPS allows you to pay your property tax bill in 12 monthly instalments rather than a single annual payment.

2019 Property Taxes are due June 30, 2019

Property owners are encouraged to use the Property Assessment & Tax Tool at saskatoon.ca/taxtool. After entering your property’s address, you can find:

  • historical property tax for your property
  • your property’s current and previous assessed value
  • nearby property and market area information
  • a detailed breakdown of the municipal portion of your property taxes and how they are allocated to various civic services

Visit saskatoon.ca/propertytax for additional property tax information, or contact a Customer Service Representative at 306-975-2400 with any of your tax-related questions.
