 COVID-19 Response for Saskatoon Residents

On March 19, 2020, the City decided to close public access to City Hall and all City buildings, including fire stations, leisure facilities, attractions and Saskatoon Public Library locations. While we are closed to the public, our business operations continue to ensure core services for our residents as much as possible. Public transit currently remains operational.

Lot Drainage

Lot grading refers to the shaping or sloping of land elevations to ensure that surface runoff from storm events or snow melt is directed away from buildings towards a City street or lane and into the City’s storm sewer system.

Zoning Bylaw

All property in Saskatoon is applied a zoning district by Bylaw 8770, the Zoning Bylaw.  A zoning district prescribes uses and contains development standards such as building setbacks and parking requirements.
